Being an avid horsewoman I’m always on the lookout for books and journals to help keep things manageable and in order, and to equip me to be a better rider and improve my skills.
This journal is definitely for the beginner horse person. There are 22 pages of Essential Horse Ownership Information with a nine-week journal to improve your riding skills, keep track of failures and successes, and re-adjust your goals as you go along. You can record lesson details, such as what worked and what you need to focus upon in the future.
If you know someone who loves to ride they will enjoy this book, however, it should be noted that the Essential Horse Ownership section should not take the place of a skilled horseperson to teach you the proper way to care for a horse and how to ride it, but be a companion guide to expert teaching.
