Being an avid gardener I’m always on the lookout for something that makes garden planning easy. So far I haven’t found anything perfect, but Garden Planner Journal & Logbook comes pretty close.
Though it has a page for ‘Seasonal Tasks’ there isn’t quite enough room for the avid gardener to utilize. There should be a page for each header rather than fitting four headers onto one page, but the idea is great.
The same thought as above goes for the Seed Inventory and Seed Purchase pages. Great idea, and these pages are repeated throughout the planner for those of us that have boxes of inventory!
The expense log is a great addition, and I think most gardeners will be shocked to learn that the tomatoes they’ve planted has cost them $5 each and that little head of gem lettuce about $6! But none of us would trade it for the world.
At 8.5” x 11” it’s a great size and has lots of room to design a garden layout as well.
For more interesting gardening ideas and products I like to read the blog at retiredgardener.com. The blogs are informative, short, and most are fairly witty with titles such as “Wash Your Moths Out With Soap,” and “RIP Boiling Water – You Will Be Mist.”
